- Served in the French army and received a classical education in art adn music.
Immigrated to the United States with his wife Marie. Designed and constructed
jewelry for Charles Tiffany in New York City. Taught violin and other instruments.
Updated a shorthand system taught in NJ high schools. Passed out from heat on a NY subway and was
reported to have died (but hadn't). Cultivated grape vines and made his own wine.
"Rennaisance Man". Designed his own photo enlarging mechanism.

learned to drive a car (but took pains to tell Harry how to do it). Began cooking
on a coal fire stove in Hawthorne, NJ.

Died at 44 of a stroke, brought on by too much drinking.
Son Hayden died in 1974 due to complications of diabetes and pneumonia.

college. Worked in chemical industry measuring and reducing pollution and hazardous waste.
Built detailed ship models. Active in community affairs in Long Valley and Flanders,NJ
as well as Greenwood, SC. Served in the US Army testing chemical warfare weapons
and protective systems. Expert with flame throwers.

- Completed high school; only child of Harry Pineau and Grace Robbins. Worked
as a secretary in elementary schools in Oakland, NJ. President of the town Garden
Club. In retirement, moved to Florida and sold real estate.

searched neighborhoods to see if there are any school age children and to enroll them. Though 4 years old at the time,
Jeanne could tie her shoes and was admitted to kindergarten. She graduated at 16years old.

transferred to the Army Air Corp. Drove tractor trailers throughout working years.
Was a passionate fisherman both ocean surf and fresh water. Pitched in a "fast pitch" softball
league and served as Oakland's first Recreation Commissioner. Coached an undefeated Little
league (not official) team.
